TDIC is dedicated to producing the best quality product available on the market. There are several ways we go about ensuring this high standard is met.
TDIC develops quality procedures for each product it develops to guarantee consistent product that will meet the needs for each application.
For example our automotive paint procedures include particle count testing of the Clean Room air three times a day. All woven / washable products are laundered, inspected and packaged in our Clean Room laundry. All non-woven / non-launderable products are processed in our exclusive Aero-Particulate Extractor (Patent Pending) then inspected and packaged in our Clean Room.
Fiber tracking
TDIC randomly checks for fiber 3 times daily on finished products using a Helmke drum and IEST RP CC003.3 testing procedure.
Crater tracking
TDIC tests all incoming raw materials for crater causing substances.
TDIC randomly tests 3 times daily on finished product for crater causing substances.
All TDIC sales, service, technical and quality staff are trained in Paint Defect Analysis; (a 3 day hands on workshop conducted by Paint Performance Consulting Inc & Surface Science Western at the University of Western Ontario.) TDIC uses Surface Science Western at the University of Western Ontario to assist in particle and defect identification. TDIC has a full time quality manager and on-site lab for testing. TDIC maintains a complete fiber library of all TDIC products to assist in particle identification
